Summer fun on the agenda? Take this opportunity to explore improvisation, led by Robert Grant. Create scenes and characters and narratives from the simplest suggestions. Learn to trust your first instincts and play with abandon. Through warm-ups, exercises, games and scenes you will find new ways to access your imagination and translate that into commitment and connection to the story and your scene partners. Learn to say "yes, and..." and build on every offer. And, have fun!
Session 2 - AUGUST 4-27
Days of the week: TUES and THURS
Time: 7:30pm - 9:30pm
Place: midtown studio TBD
Cost: minimal charge to help cover cost of studio space (if necessary)
The plan is to meet twice a week for four weeks in August. But, we need a solid 8 people to make the workshop effective and fun. (No more than 12).
